In addition to taking in the Wildcats for the 2017-2018 season, ETHS is set to host their regular schedule of high school athletic events in the Beardsley gym. “We are honored to share our beloved Beardsley Gym with the Wildcats and thrilled to host the volleyball and women’s basketball teams here this year.” “ETHS highly values out many partnership opportunities with Northwestern,” said Chris Livatino, ETHS athletic director. The renovation is anticipated to be complete by the fall of 2018.

The transformation will begin immediately after the conclusion of the 2016-17 women’s basketball season. The team, along with women’s basketball, will host their events other than their normal home location of Welsh-Ryan Arena, as the facility is set to undergo a complete $110 million renovation. Next season, the Northwestern volleyball program will host their home events at the Evanston Township High School’s historic Beardsley Gym.
